Safer Care Victoria sought Upstride’s expertise in 2022 to craft the copy for its annual report on Voluntary Assisted Dying in Victoria.

WHAT WE DID

Given the sensitive nature of Voluntary Assisted Dying, the primary challenge was to produce a report that was both factually accurate and presented with an exceptionally neutral tone, avoiding any bias or emotive language.

Content Development: Collaborated closely with Safer Care Victoria to gather and verify content, ensuring that all information was accurate and appropriately handled

Copywriting: Crafted clear, neutral, and factual copy for the report, meticulously addressing the complexities and sensitivities surrounding Voluntary Assisted Dying

Review Process: Managed three rounds of feedback and revisions to fine-tune the report and ensure it met all requirements and standards.

The final report was successfully delivered to Safer Care Victoria and tabled to Victorian Parliament on schedule. The report achieved its goal of providing a neutral, factual account of Voluntary Assisted Dying in Victoria, contributing to informed discussion and policy evaluation.‍
